Greek New Year’s cake with nuts and lemon and orange flavour

INGREDIENTS

3 eggs ...

150 g DODONI fresh cow’s butter...

240 g Sugar...

150 g Ground almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts (anything you want) ...

250 g Self-rising flour ...

1 tsp Baking powder ...

80 g Milk...

Zest and juice of an orange ...

Zest of a lemon ...

1/4 tsp Cinnamon...

PREPARATION

Beat the butter and sugar on high speed until the mixture gets fluffy. Add the eggs one by one. Then add the juice and milk. It will look like it’s not homogenised, but don't worry! Then add the flour, the baking powder and the cinnamon. Finally, add the grated nuts and the zest of the orange and lemon.

EXECUTION

Put non-stick baking paper on a 25 cm baking pan. Spread the mixture and bake for 50 minutes in a preheated oven at 180°C! Don't forget to put a coin inside. When the cake cools, put powdered sugar on it!
