4 cups fresh strawberries
2 cups DODONI xynogala
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Clean and wash the strawberries. Process them in a food processor or blender until smooth, scraping down the sides of the bowl. Press mixture through a strainer to a bowl and discard the solids.
Add buttermilk, sugar and vanilla extract to the strawberry pulp. Stir until blended and well combined. Process mixture in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer’s instructions. Transfer sherbet to an airtight container and freeze until ready to serve.
Let soften at room temperature 15 minutes before serving.
