INGREDIENTS

12 crustless slices of sandwich bread...

10 slices DODONI TouTost cheese...

10 slices of smoked ham ...

olive oil for the baking dish...

4 eggs...

700 ml full fat 3,5% DODONI fresh milk...

80 g. grated DODONI Kefalograviera...

salt...

pepper...

½ tsp ground nutmeg...

PREPARATION

Weigh the ingredients. Grease a baking dish or pan with olive oil. 

EXECUTION

Cover the bottom of the baking dish with half the bread slices and adjust their shape to the dish.
Top with a layer of half the ham slices.
Top with a layer of half the DODONI TouTost slices.
Cover with the rest of the bread slices and repeat with the rest of the ham and TouTost slices.
In a bowl whip the eggs, DODONI fresh milk, salt, freshly ground pepper and nutmeg.
Pour the egg mixture over the baking dish’s ingredients and sprinkle with the grated DODONI Kefalograviera.
Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and put in the fridge for 1 ½ hour.
Bake the Strata in a preheated oven, at 180oC, for 35-40 minutes until golden.
