Frozen Yogurt with Forest Fruit Sauce

INGREDIENTS

400 g DODONI with Fruits, Strawberry...

600 g heavy ream ...

140 g granulated sugar (for the frozen yogurt)...

100 g raspberries, fresh or frozen ...

100 g strawberries...

100 g granulated sugar (for the sauce)...

Juice of 1 lime...

PREPARATION

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream and sugar and whisk on medium to high speed for about 4 minutes, or until they become a soft whipped cream.

Remove the bowl from the mixer base, add the DODONI with Fruit Strawberry, and mix with a fork until everything is well combined.

Cover the walls and the base of a long cake pan with cling film and transfer the entire mixture from the mixing bowl.  Cover with cling film and place in the freezer for 3-4 hours.

EXECUTION

Add the raspberries and strawberries, as well as the sugar and lime juice, in a small saucepan.

Cook over low heat for about 8 to 10 minutes, stirring frequently with a wooden spoon and mashing some fruit along the way.

Transfer the sauce to a bowl and place it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to cool.

Serve with a dollop of sauce on top and enjoy.
