Traditionally, Feta cheese in Greece is sold in bulk from large containers, in as much quantity as the consumer wants each time, found in refrigerators at markets where it is available, as it occurs with most cheese dairy products. Although today several enterprises produce and make Feta available in standardised small packages directly available for retail purchasing on market shelves, the main market procedure in Greece continues to keep on the traditional way.
In 1994, DODONI changed first the market of ‘Feta’ cheese in bulk, by stamping the company’s brand on the body of the cheese; this led to the product being demanded by its brand name.
Feta DODONI in containers is available in three sizes of 15 Kg, 7 Kg and 4 Kg.
